Calling all men and boys! Thursday, September 28th 6-8pm we will gather for a Beast Feast. There will be food to satisfy the most carnivorous among us – sides and desserts too! Come and vote for your favorite wild game cooking team and hear an encouraging and challenging word from Joe Wood, ULL BCM Director. Bring a friend and your appetite. No registration required.
If you are interested in being a team leader please text Casey (225-270-1659) the following:
- Official Team name
- Names of cooks-team lead
- Meal planned to cook
RULES for TEAMS:
- Teams of (3) men or young adults (one team member must be a non – FC member or new member.)
- Preferred wild game, however can cook homemade unique recipes with any meat.
- Cook onsite – Team building is goal (start the night before, if needed)
- Cook for 25+ normal servings (Medium-Large jambalaya bowl size for reference)
- Samples ready by 6:00pm for judging.
- No handing out food before serving time (6:15/6:30)
- Winning team will get to keep the Beast Feast trophy for bragging rights
- Winning team receive prizes (i.e. gift cards)
- Door prize raffles for everyone in attendance
